02/11/08 -TierOne Networks Offers Wireless Internet Broadband Service in Collin & Denton Counties, Texas

Dallas, Texas: February 11, 2008 - TierOne Networks announced the expansion of its WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) coverage area to include 230 square miles in Collin & Denton Counties in Texas. The expansion represents a dramatic increase in TierOne’s coverage to 480 square miles and includes 100,000+ homes and businesses. “The Collin and Denton County expansion is an important step toward providing reasonably priced broadband internet access to ALL rural customers living just beyond the DSL and Cable networks around Dallas/Ft. Worth”, said CEO Kevin Weaver. He added, “This expansion comes on the heels of the initiation of VoIP services throughout our network and positions TierOne as the leading WISP in DFW”.

TierOne’s 2008 expansion plans include northern Denton & Collin County, Kaufman & Rockwall Counties. To service its expansion, TierOne is in the application process for a half dozen FCC Licenses to ensure reliability and consistency now and in the future.
