02/12/08 -TierOne Networks Achieves 36.9% Market Share in Red Oak, Texas in First Eight Months

Dallas, Texas: February 12, 2008 - TierOne Networks announced today it has achieved 36.9% market share of all broadband subscribers in its first market, Red Oak, Texas and 14.8% market share in Midlothian, Texas.

“These outstanding results reflect TierOne’s commitment to providing high-speed access, reliability and outstanding customer service to suburban and rural residents surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth. The rapid adoption of broadband internet access reflects the enormous pent-up demand in rural markets,” said CEO Kevin Weaver. “As a result of this strategy, we are able to bring rural customers a Carrier-Grade Network with the speed, reliability and cost that urban customers have enjoyed for a decade. This is a testimony to the hard work of TierOne’s employees and technical staff.”

The Gartner Group estimates that by 2010 50% of rural homes will be broadband internet subscribers. Based on the Gartner estimate, by 2010 there will be 250,000 subscribers in rural DFW. TierOne’s goal is to duplicate the Red Oak experience and garner 36.9% of the available market resulting in approximately 92,000 subscribers by 2010. To meet this goal, TierOne initiated coverage in Denton & Collin Counties and will be entering Kaufman & Rockwall Counties in the first half of 2008. To service its expansion, TierOne is in the application process for a half dozen FCC Licenses to ensure reliability and consistency.
