03/17/08 -TierOne Networks Announces Deal to Acquire Lavon Shore Wireless


Dallas, Texas: March 17, 2008 –TierOne Networks today announced an agreement to acquire Lavon Shore Wireless (“LSW”); a Collin County, Texas based Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). The acquisition represents the first in a planned series of acquisitions in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for TierOne Networks.  The transaction is expected to close within a few weeks.  The terms of the transaction were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to satisfactory completion of a definitive agreement.

Kevin Weaver, President & CEO of TierOne Networks, said, "The proposed transaction with LSW contributes substantially to TierOne’s customer base and leverages our existing investment in our “Carrier-Grade” infrastructure.  The LSW acquisition is the first in what we expect to be a rapid series of acquisitions in the Dallas-Fort Worth market over the next several quarters.
