04/08/08 -TierOne Networks Completes Acquisition of Lavon Shore Wireless


Dallas, Texas: April 8, 2008 –TierOne Networks today announced the successful acquisition of Lavon Shore Wireless (“LSW”); a Collin County, Texas based Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). 

"The fact that the deal was closed in three weeks is attributable to the skill of our seasoned acquisition team and reflects the seriousness of our intent to grow through acquisitions, stated Kevin Weaver, President & CEO of TierOne Networks.  “The LSW acquisition is the first in what we expect to be a rapid series of acquisitions in the DFW and Texas market over the next several quarters.”

The additional TierOne coverage area includes Princeton, Nevada, Lowry Crossing and Culleoka, as well as portions of Lucas, and Wylie.  Existing LSW customers will have the opportunity to upgrade their service to TierOne’s Carrier-Grade network with speeds up to 5 Mbps over the next few months.  Former LSW customers can call TierOne customer service at 866-551-1367.
